Acerbi to Genoa, Cofie to Chievo
Francesco Acerbi has gone to Genoa: the Ligurian club has bought half of the 23-year-old player from Milan's registration rights. Francesco arrived in Verona last summer and his first Serie A match was the win away to Catania on 20th November 2011. He made 17 appearances, played 1,438 minutes and scored one goal, in the home match against Siena.
At the same time A.C. ChievoVerona announces that 20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie has been ceded to Chievo in a joint ownership deal. He emerged from the Genoa youth sector, played briefly for Torino and then went to Piacenza, making 21 appearances there, and next to Sassuolo, where he played 36 matches and scored one goal last season.
Cofie will be presented to the press today at 3:30pm in the Hotel Leopardi's Sala Manzoni.
